Shipping Policy — Carter Wear
Our goal is to deliver your order quickly and reliably. This policy applies to orders delivered within the United Kingdom. Prices are shown in GBP, include UK VAT, and standard UK shipping is free.
SHIPPING OVERVIEW
• Shipping area: United Kingdom only.
• Processing time: typically 1–2 business days (Mon–Fri, excluding UK public holidays).
• Delivery time after dispatch: typically 5–9 business days.
• Tracking: you’ll receive a shipping confirmation with tracking details once your order has been dispatched.
• Carriers: orders are delivered by reputable UK carriers selected automatically based on speed, service and your postcode.
SHIPPING CHARGES
• Standard UK shipping: free on all orders.
• Optional paid services (e.g. expedited) may appear at checkout if available for your address.
ORDER CUT-OFF, HANDLING & TRANSIT
• Order cut-off for same-day processing: 14:00 (2:00 pm) UK time, Monday–Friday. Orders placed after this time are processed the next business day.
• Handling time: typically 1–2 business days.
• Transit time: typically 5–9 business days after dispatch.
Note: timeframes are estimates and may vary due to carrier capacity, peak seasons, remote locations or local disruptions.
PROCESSING & DELIVERY TIMELINE
• Business Day 0–1 — Order review: we verify order details and payment.
• Business Day 1–2 — Quality control & packing: items are inspected, securely packed and labelled for dispatch.
• After dispatch — In transit: delivery typically occurs within 5–9 business days. Follow progress via your tracking link.
FULFILMENT & SPLIT SHIPMENTS
• Orders may be prepared and dispatched from our authorised fulfilment centres and logistics partners.
• Items in the same order can ship separately; you’ll receive separate tracking where applicable.
ORDER TRACKING & COMMUNICATIONS
• We’ll email a dispatch confirmation with your tracking number (and SMS if selected).
• If you haven’t received tracking within 3 business days of ordering, please check your spam folder and then contact us.
DELIVERY SERVICE DETAILS
• Delivery attempts: most carriers attempt delivery at least once; some may deliver to a safe place or a neighbour if suitable.
• Signature: may be required for higher-value parcels at the carrier’s discretion.
• Safe place: if you prefer no safe-place delivery, contact the carrier using your tracking link as soon as it’s available.
• PO Boxes/BFPO: delivery to PO boxes isn’t supported; BFPO may take longer—please contact support before ordering.
ADDRESS ACCURACY & DELIVERY CHANGES
• Please ensure your delivery address and contact details are complete and correct at checkout.
• Address change requests: email support@wearcarter.com within 24 hours (or as soon as possible). We’ll try to amend it, but changes aren’t guaranteed once processing has begun.
• Undeliverable parcels: if a parcel is returned due to non-collection or an incorrect address, we can reship (postage may apply) or refund in line with our Returns & Refund Policy.
ORDER ACCEPTANCE, VERIFICATION & PRICING
• We may refuse or cancel any order at our discretion (for example, suspected fraud, reseller/distributor activity, or obvious pricing errors).
• We may request additional verification (e.g. contact or address checks).
• If a pricing error is identified, we may cancel or contact you to reconfirm before proceeding. Any authorised payments for cancelled orders will be released or refunded.
HOW TO CHECK YOUR ORDER STATUS
• Use the tracking link in your dispatch email. If you haven’t received tracking within 3 business days, contact us and we’ll assist.
MISSING, DELAYED OR LOST PACKAGES
• If your order hasn’t arrived within the estimated timeframe, email support@wearcarter.com with your order number. We’ll liaise with the carrier to investigate and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
POSSIBLE DELAYS
• Severe weather or local disruptions.
• Carrier network delays or high seasonal volumes.
• Access restrictions at the delivery address (e.g. gated premises, incomplete address).
RISK & TITLE
• Risk of loss passes on delivery to the address provided (including safe-place delivery recorded by the carrier). This does not affect your statutory rights.
TAXES & DUTIES
• UK orders include VAT; no additional duties apply for domestic deliveries.

• By placing an order on our website, you agree to this Shipping Policy and our Terms of Service.
